WHAT'S HAPPENING

On Saturday, May 2nd from 10AM to 2PM, the Modus AV Listening Lounge will be home to a curated showcase of HEGEL integrated amplifiers and digital solutions. This isn't a typical product demo. It's an invitation to experience what serious engineering sounds like when it's given the room to breathe.

We'll have multiple HEGEL models set up and ready to demonstrate. A HEGEL brand representative will be on-site to answer technical questions, explain the technology behind the sound, and help you understand what makes these amplifiers different. Our team will be there to guide the experience, answer questions about your specific setup, and make sure you're comfortable.

Bring music you know well; whether that's a CD, vinyl, or high-resolution digital files. Hearing your favorite recordings through a HEGEL system is often the moment people understand what we mean by world-class amplification.

Light refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon. No registration required. Drop in anytime between 10AM and 2PM and stay as long as you'd like.

THE TRADE-IN PROGRAM — HOW IT WORKS

We know that upgrading your amplifier can feel like a significant step, not just financially, but emotionally. Your current amp may have been part of your system for years. It's gotten you this far. But if you're ready for something better, we want to make that transition as seamless as possible.

That's why we're offering a trade-in program during the event. Here's exactly how it works:

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

Your current amplifier; any brand, any model; in good working condition.

"Good working condition" means:

• The unit powers on and produces sound

• All major functions are operational (input switching, volume control, etc.)

• No excessive noise, distortion, or intermittent failures

• Normal cosmetic wear is fine (we're evaluating functionality, not appearance)

You can bring the amplifier with you to the event, we can provide a final valuation confirmed once we see the unit in person.

Bonus points if you bring the original box and accessories.

WHAT WE'LL DO

Our team will assess your amplifier's current condition and fair market value. We base this on:

• Current resale market data for the specific model

• Overall condition and functionality

• Demand and desirability in the used market

Once we've determined the trade-in value, we'll apply that amount as credit toward the purchase of a new HEGEL amplifier or digital solution. The credit is applied at the time of purchase. It works just like a down payment.

THE DETAILS (IMPORTANT)

• One amplifier per customer. We're limiting trade-ins to one unit per person to ensure fairness and keep the process manageable during the event.

• Trade-in value applies only toward HEGEL products. The credit you receive must be used toward the purchase of a new HEGEL amplifier or digital solution. It cannot be applied to other brands, accessories, or non-HEGEL products.

• No cash or store credit will be issued. The trade-in value exists solely as a credit toward your HEGEL purchase. We cannot provide cash back or convert the value into general store credit for future use.

• You are under no obligation. If the trade-in value doesn't work for you, or if you decide you'd rather hold onto your current amp, that's completely fine. There's no pressure to move forward.

AN EXAMPLE OF HOW IT WORKS

Let's say you bring in an older integrated amplifier that we assess at a fair market value of $400. You've been interested in a HEGEL integrated amplifier priced at $3,000. We would apply that $400 trade-in credit directly to your purchase, bringing your out-of-pocket cost to $2,600 (plus tax).

It's straightforward. No hidden fees. No complicated terms. Just a fair valuation and a direct path to upgrading.

SPECIAL EVENT PRICING

In addition to the trade-in program, we'll be offering special event pricing on HEGEL products. This pricing is available during the event on May 2nd and remains active for one full week following the event (through May 9th).

We can't share specific numbers publicly, but it's a meaningful offer; the kind of pricing that makes this the right time to upgrade if you've been on the fence.

The event pricing can be combined with the trade-in program, giving you two ways to reduce the cost of stepping into a HEGEL system.

1. Your ears. That's really all that's required.

2. Music you know well (optional but recommended). CDs, vinyl, or high-resolution digital files on a USB drive or your phone. Familiar recordings help you understand exactly what the system is capable of.

3. Your current amplifier (if you're considering a trade-in).

4. Questions. Our team and the HEGEL representative will be there to answer anything from basic setup questions to deep technical inquiries about circuit design and distortion specs.

5. A friend (if they'd enjoy it). Great sound is better when shared.
