Rise and Resonance: Our Night with Melissa Etheridge

On August 6th, the Modus AV Listening Lounge filled with the kind of energy you can only get when great music meets great gear. Melissa Etheridge joined us in person for a full album listening of her record Rise, played through the KEF R11 Meta speakers in partnership with KEF. It was a night built for people who feel music as much as they hear it, and the room delivered.

From 5 to 8 PM, the lounge was packed. Fans who had followed Melissa's career for decades sat beside newer listeners discovering her sound for the first time, and every seat had a front row experience to the album's raw storytelling. Hearing Rise in full, on a system built to reveal every layer of a mix, gave the evening a texture that a car stereo or a pair of earbuds simply cannot touch. You could hear it in the room: the quiet moments landed heavier, the vocals felt closer, and the low end had weight without losing detail.

Between tracks, guests mingled, talked gear, and swapped stories about what brought them to the lounge that night. Spots for the event were limited and registration filled up fast, which made the turnout even more meaningful.
